Introduction：

The AF fully automatic back-flushing filter removes solid contaminants from water and emulsions. The filtered residues are discharged fully automatically without any interruption of the filtration process. The extremely simple and robust design of these filters, as well as their reliable and fully automatic mode of operation ensure high functional reliability and minimum running cost.
The high-precision needle-slot candles are made of Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex or Titanium, have a filtration-range from 5000 micron to 25 micron. The filtered solids are systematically removed from the filter during the back-flushing operation. Back-flushing is actuated as a function of the differential pressure or a pre-set time, depending on the degree of contamination of the needle-slot candles.
As cleaning always involves only a small part of the filtration area, i.e. only a small number of filter candles are cleaned at any time, back-flushing is very fast and highly effective. Filtration is not interrupted during the back-flushing process. The only moving parts are the back-flushing arm and the flow control device; their plastic bushings re-adjust automatically and therefore wear and maintenance costs are extremely low.
